Comming soon     Museum’s reopening :8th. May 2017
 

In April 2017, The Museum of the Osaka College of Music was reborn as Museum of Musical Instrument on the third floor of the 100th anniversary building.
Approximately 1,400 selected examples from the collection of about 2,000 instruments are exhibited regularly.
In addition, the Museum owns audio-visual materials and literature on world music and instruments, and scripts of JORURI (Japanese narrative drama) from Edo period, etc.
The museum develops its role in the musical, cultural and educational landscape of Kansai area.


Access to the Museum

The museum is located in the Second Campus.
Hankyu Railway Shonai Station is an additional 10 minutes walk away from the Main Campus.
Guest Parking is not  available on the  campus.

Museum Hours: Monday, Saturday 10:00-16:00
   Closed: National Holiday, Oct.15 (College Anniversary of Foundation), August, New years Holidays
   « It may be closed temporary. Please inquire the schedule before you visit.
